Tidemark is Dan Kowalski, plus two apprentices and a very organized office manager named Priya who is the actual boss.
Dan got his Red Seal in 2008, spent three years doing new construction in Surrey, and started Tidemark in 2011 because he was tired of watching customers get charged for hours that didn't happen. The rule since day one: quote it straight, do it once, clean up after.
Fifteen years later that's still the whole business plan. Most of our work comes from repeat customers and their neighbours, which is how we like it — it means the last job was good.
“They did the rough-in for our basement suite. Inspector signed off first visit. Our contractor now recommends them to everyone.”
“Priya in the office is the most organized human I've dealt with in any trade. You get a time window and they're actually in it.”
“Told me honestly the fix was a $30 part and showed me how to do it myself next time. Guess who I'm calling for the reno.”
